The digiDEM Bavaria Science Watch newsletter, which presents current news from national and international dementia research in an easy-to-understand language, is enjoying ever-increasing popularity.
From a lot of feedback, we know that you, dear readers, are quite curious and greatly appreciate our digiDEM Bayern Science Watch newsletter. The positive response is also reflected in steadily increasing subscription numbers. We are very pleased about this.

Countering stigmatization
Because developments show us how important it is to regularly report on the latest national and international dementia research. For a large part of our society, dementia is still considered a taboo subject. With our newsletter, we also want to counteract stigmatization and create lasting awareness for the concerns of people with dementia and their caregivers. We do this with all our passion.
Inform the public
The better the public is informed about the disease picture of dementia, the more willing it is to question misconceptions about Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. This was shown by a study in 2015. And a 2018 study underscored that awareness campaigns should not only point out the serious consequences of dementia, but „should be supplemented by evidence-based campaigns that emphasize the value of diagnosis and treatment.“
Consistent testing procedure
The core of every newsletter contribution is scientifically substantiated and verified information, presented in an easily understandable way. The studies presented are selected through a coherent selection and review process. This follows the criteria of evidence-based medicine, comprehensible methodology, and, of course, the credibility of the publication outlets.
Monthly Service Offer
The digiDEM Bayern Science Watch newsletter is sent out once a month with four to six topics. In addition to thematically mixed editions, there are also special editions with the aim of presenting selected focus topics in more detail. As a service for all those who wish to read the respective study in its original form, we provide links to these publications. We thank all our readers for their continued loyalty!
