„Digital“ means it concerns a project on the internet.
The term „dementia registry“ refers to researchers collecting a lot of information about dementia.
The short name of the project is: digiDEM Bayern.
The researchers want to help people with dementia and their relatives. Throughout Bavaria.

Online Help Offers
The digiDEM Bavaria project consists of 2 parts.
The first part is online support services.
You are for people with dementia and their family members.
For example, people with dementia can do exercises on the internet.
The exercises help them remember things better.
For example, a sequence of images.
Information is available for family members.
For example, about assistance services in your local area.
The researchers are also planning a program for all citizens.
Because many people want to know more about dementia diseases.
Collect information from people with dementia
Researchers from digiDEM Bavaria also collect data on dementia.
This is the second part of the undertaking.
For this, they question people with dementia and their relatives.
The questions are, for example: How are you? What help are you receiving? What other help do you need?
In some places, there might be enough help. But in others, there isn't.
This should show the answers. Then the situation for people can be improved.
This is the goal of digiDEM Bavaria.

The money for digiDEM Bavaria comes from Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care.
