How You Can Actively Contribute to Improving Dementia Care

Anxiety, insecurity, powerlessness – a dementia diagnosis is a major turning point for those affected and their families. Not leaving them alone with this, but providing support, is a task for society as a whole. But which services are most urgently needed? Which ones exist, which are missing? We want to find this out – with your help. Only through your commitment can we gain an overview of care and possible gaps – and pass them on to politicians. Help improve the living conditions for those affected in Bavaria!

Surveys

After your initial interview, we would like to contact you again for interviews at 6 months, one year, and then annually thereafter. The interviews are expected to last approximately 90 minutes.

Funded research project

The Bavarian Digital Dementia Register, or „digiDEM Bayern“ for short, is a research project. The goal is to improve the care of people with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and dementia, and their caregivers and relatives, throughout Bavaria. The project is funded and supported by the Bavarian State Ministry of Health, Care and Prevention (StMGP).
