Unlike many other knowledge tests, this knowledge test is based on a scientific foundation, the study „The Alzheimer's Disease Knowledge Scale: Development and Psychometric Properties“ (Carpenter et al. 2009, Link to the publication: https://doi.org/10.1093/geront/gnp023). The questionnaire possesses high reliability for both practical application and research, and it captures the level of knowledge about Alzheimer's dementia among interested individuals, patients, caregivers, and professionals.
