The digiDEM Bavaria team, led by digiDEM Bavaria project manager Prof. Dr. med. Peter Kolominsky-Rabas, was a guest at the 7th Bavarian Dementia Conference on November 8, 2022, in Landshut. The Bavarian State Ministry of Health and Care had invited attendees to the all-day event.

In the packed Bernlochner city halls, numerous participants from practice and science listened to multifaceted lectures on the topic „Dementia and Dying.“ All experts agreed that for people with dementia to die with dignity, their individual needs must be put at the center.
The digiDEM Bayern team also learned about the different perspectives and approaches to accompanying people with dementia in their final phase of life. The scientists gained valuable insights through discussions with speakers and with digiDEM Bayern research partners.
