Dies gilt sowohl f\u00fcr Depressionen im mittleren Lebensalter als auch in sp\u00e4teren Jahren.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\" class=\"stk-highlight\">Mechanismen<\/span><\/strong>:<\/td><td>Depressionen gehen nicht selten mit&nbsp;<strong>verminderter Selbstf\u00fcrsorge<\/strong>&nbsp;(Wahrnehmung der eigenen Bed\u00fcrfnisse) und erh\u00f6hter&nbsp;<strong>sozialer Isolation<\/strong>&nbsp;einher. Beides kann kognitive Funktionen beeintr\u00e4chtigen und das Risiko f\u00fcr Demenz erh\u00f6hen.<br><br>K\u00f6rperliche Reaktionen auf Depressionen sind mit Dauer-Stress zu vergleichen, wobei&nbsp;vermehrt&nbsp;<strong>Cortisol<\/strong>&nbsp;aussch\u00fcttet wird.
